Today is Monday {linky}

New Year's Eve!
Woo Hoo!
Never a real New Year's gal myself.
But, I love the New Year.
My old senior Pastor used to always say as long as we know Christ who needs a new year to start fresh.
I get it, but thinking about the new year really prompts me to think of things I want to do differently or change.
My new senior Pastor usually gives a great message around this time about starting new.

Plans for this 2013:
1.  Organization
2.  Home Improvement
3.  More time spent with kids really guiding them.
4.  Teach kids about goals and how to attain them.
5.  Try not to let our household turn upside down when the baby comes-  we will see how that one goes.

Wanted to get some pics in of the kids in their jammies that Nana made because you know they don't always wear them at the same time!

Hope you have a wonderful New Years.  I just know 2013 will be great!

You know the drill.....  link up your post below and please, please use my Today is Monday button from the sidebar. :)

It's A.........

GIRL!
We are having a girl!
So now, 2 girls, 2 boys and another girl on the way.
The girls win at our house!
We found out at 15 weeks what we are having because my doctor always tells us early. We went back and forth about finding out and the kids were so excited so we decided to go for it.

In these pictures I am 17 weeks!  I kept meaning to post these and here they are a little late.
Today I am 20 weeks.
I usually pop fast and this time was no exception.

I won this shirt in a giveaway from this great lady here.   You can purchase one in her shop here.
I love the shirt and it is long so perfect to wear over my maternity leggings.
It came with a red fabric marker to cross off each week.  It is one of my favs and I hope to keep documenting my expanding belly over the pregnancy.

As for now- we are not agreeing on a name- but we have time.
And how fun are girls names???

Have a great weekend.

Merry Christmas 2012

Merry Christmas from our house to yours!

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Today is Monday! {linky}

I was just running around cleaning, stopped for some delicious cream of wheat, and realized it is Monday!  Time to post!

And even though it is completely nuts here- we are having both Christmas eve and Christmas day here and I had to finish wrapping gifts for 4 kids, it is wonderful.

And I am making progress.  Thanks to my mom for taking the 3 younger kids.

I had all these posts I had planned for this season, but I have been too busy to blog.
So, here are some highlights from our events.  The church program.

 My girl as Mary.
Seeing Santa at the little guy's request.

I am so excited about Christmas tomorrow.
How about you?
What do you have going on?

A Makeover

Introducing....
My new blog makeover!

Have a look around and tell me what you think.

My fav?

The tabs over on the left, ---they change when you hover over them.
Can't tell you how much I have wanted those babies.

And I have Krystina to thank!
She is fantastic and patient!
Which is great because I can be annoying.
Surprised?
::wink::

Not only does Krystina have an awesome blog, but she designs them too!

Check out more of her work at the Creative Arcade!

Thanks Krystina!
I am so excited!

P&G eStore

Have you checked out the P&G eStore yet?
I was shocked to find out how many products I use are in the eStore.
And the bonuses are awesome:

15% off on a first-time order from a new customer, using promo code: A9Z-MN5-KY3-ISA

Free Shipping on orders over $25

Free Samples with every order.

I so plan on taking advantage of this site when the baby is born.
Think about it. Diapers shipped to my house for free!
No taking the baby our in the carrier to but her/him into a car and then into the shopping cart for a package of diapers that will only last a week.
A minute online and straight to my door- Pampers Swaddlers!
Now I know what you may be thinking haven't you ordered diapers before.
Nope- with all four kids I got diapers the "old-fashioned" way- at the store!
I have always talked about it and now I know where to order them.

And cover girl products?
Yes, please.
Sent to the house?
Even better.

Tide pods.  I love these.  Toss them in and go.
Yep, P&G has them too.

Most of us shop online for Christmas gifts and stuff we need.  And some of us may even shop for groceries online.

The P&G eStore makes it easy and has great incentives.

Could it be any easier?

Today is Monday! {linky}

Good Morning!
Truly one of those days where there is so much to say!
We had a great weekend- saw Santa, wrapped dollar store gifts, listened to Christmas music on tv and ended the weekend with the Christmas program at church.
I will blog on all of these things during the week, so stay tuned.

I quickly told my middle kids about the horrific day on Friday, realizing they will hear a lot of kids speaking about it today at elementary school.
My son had asked and heard something about it, but my daughter had no idea.
We talked about it and prayed together.
I feel a peace sending them today.
God is good.
I was on my girlfriend's facebook and read this article on mental illness that someone had posted.
It is pretty interesting and sad.  You can read it here.
Though, I am not sure what our country needs to do.
The only thing that sticks out in my mind and heart is that we are a country that desperately needs Jesus.

Well, off to try and get things organized for the week, because the kids have off after this week (can't wait) and this mama has a lot of wrapping to do.

Link up your Monday post below and let me know what you are up to.
Grab my button from the sidebar.

And if you noticed, we are doing some renovating around the ole blog and are not quite finished.  More to come on that.

Happy Monday!

Praying For Connecticut

How does anyone have the right words to say?
I certainly do not.
But, can't let it go without writing about it.

Everything goes through a parent's mind.
What if it were our kids?
How are those poor people?
What can we do to help?

Why do we live in these times?
Everyone talks about the "olden days".
About how great they were.
How safe.
How unlike today.

But, these are the times we are living in.
Raising kids in.
Trying to survive in.
And sometimes all we can do is pray.
Like today.
All we can do is pray.
But, to say it is "all we can do" makes it sound less than what it really is.
Prayer.
Straight to our Lord, who is listening.

"Pray without ceasing." 1Thessalonians 5:17
