We celebrated Aunt Sue's 29th birthday!  Tee hee hee.  She maybe a little older than that, but she is always young to us.

We had a great time with 12 of us at a small restaurant close to our house.

Can't go wrong with Italian food!

And we ended our week with a beautiful wedding. My girlfriend got married!  She was truly beautiful.  I have always known she was beautiful, but when I saw her come out I was in awe of how gorgeous she truly is!  I had an awesome time and really enjoyed time with the husband.  As I always say, we have to get our more often.

Wait... How Did We Get Here?

Can't believe it is almost fall.  

I guess I should use today to vacuum out the beach sand from my van.

Maybe I should mow the lawn one more time.

And let the raking begin.

How are we full blown in school?

Homework, tests, practice, projects, cupcakes in classes, ironed clothes (yes, ironed- I do this until about February and then anything that is clean will do), packed lunches, early breakfast and waiting at the bus stop.

I am starting to miss waking up a little later and hitting the beach.

Now we countdown to Christmas- AHHHHH!

Tell me you have done your shopping already?

I have to start making some lists I guess.

Looking forward to pumpkin pie, getting these air conditioners out of the windows and for the hectic sports schedule to die down simply because it is too cold to play.

I am thankful for the seasons.  The kids enjoy it.

But, one day....

One day, I will move down south and never buy a winter coat again.

Speaking of winter coats- I think everyone needs one.

We have a wedding to go to on Sunday - looking forward to it.

Date night for me and the husband- that is what weddings are.

And out to dinner on Saturday for our Aunt's birthday.

I love having things to look forward to.

It was one of those weekends when you can't wait for Monday!
A lot to do.
And now we have off for 2 days for Rosh Hashanah.
Yay for Jewish holidays at public school!

Getting back into selling on ebay. Picked both of these up for $1.25 each at children's place.
Hope they sell now that the colder weather is upon us!

Had a family birthday for 2 of the kiddos! A ton of work but so worth it to spend time with family!

Still cleaning up after this one!

Plans for the week?

Work.
Cleaning- finding jeans for everyone- getting kinda chilly!
And a ton of games and practices!
Yikes!

Today is Monday! {linky}

So, last week was like a whirlwind.  We had a bbq last Sunday and then labor day was spent at the beach with my mom and my mil.
Not the best beach weather, but fun just the same.  I love this girl in the coral suit!

 The kids jumped in holes.

 And had a great time.

 Can't believe our beach days are pretty much over.

Both boys started fall baseball.  We usually don't do fall sports, but why not?
It was the little guy's first time playing- he loved it.
Now, if we could just get him to stop running with the bat?

 Big sister played a role in her children's church class as a nurse and let this guy dress the part, a male nurse just like his Abuelo.   Sorry Dad that we made so much fun of you when I was a kid!

And I entered a mug swap at Cuppa Kim.  I scored this beautiful mug, salted caramel hot cocoa, which looks divine and some tea I plan on trying from Christy!

On the home front we are back to school and back into the swing of things.

Our First Ever Pre-Schooler!

I am a mom who is big on doing everything the same for each of our kids!
That being said, we decided to put the little guy in pre-school!

We never sent the other 3, but everything is different now.
The kids are in public school and pre-school is free, so we decided to give it a whirl.

The little guy will have to go to full day kindergarten next year, so we figured 2.5 hours of pre-school might help him ease into it.

It was hard to leave him and even my middles said, "Mom, are you really leaving him here?"

The little guy did great.

His only problem?
Weekends!
He is upset he has no school!
