yes- it's the Nutrisystem Update!

So, this week I wasn't able to go to the gym as much.
Had a sick kid for a couple of days and then had some things I had to take care of.
But, being home more gave me the time to tweak what I was eating.
I am working especially hard on not eating any added carbs.
I stick to what is in the Nutrisystem food and only add extra proteins and veggies.
This has been working well and I feel less bloated.
Goodbye "bread belly".

And duh- it is exactly what I have been reading in my Nutrisystem paperwork!

So now, no more bread, extra tortillas or handfuls of goldfish and animal crackers when I hand them out to the kids.
Sometimes it is harder than others.
Like when my daughter made cherry turnovers by herself and was eager for me to try them.
Ok, so I had one or two.
But, I have been doing well and plan on keeping it up.

This is usually what I eat for lunch. A nice, big salad with Nutrisystem Red beans, chicken sausage and rice. Delish! This day I also added some grilled chicken.
This is one of my favorite meals and I like knowing that I am going to have it for lunch.
If I need a snack, I grab a cheese stick or some walnuts. I am thinking about adding some hard boiled eggs into the mix, here and there.
My last bootcamp workout today- hello pain!
