Easy Cherry Cobbler- TMTT

i can't take credit for this recipe. it was given to me by a friend who got it from another friend.

it is easy and it is gooooood.

even the husband thinks so.

preheat oven to 350.

u need: 1 stick butter, 2 containers of cherry pie filling and a box of white cake mix.

  • melt a half a stick of butter in the microwave and put it in the bottom of a 13x9x2 pan.
  • next dump in the 2 containers of pie filling.
  • then put the box of cake mix over it.
  • finally either melt the rest of the butter and pour over the cake mix or cut up pats of butter and put that on top.
  • bake for an hour or until golden brown on top.
  • serve warm with vanilla ice cream and/or whipped cream.

*I think next time I will put some crushed walnuts on top before baking.
You can also use a different pie filling like peach or blueberry.
