Don't Wait Till Your Hungry- A Nutrisystem Update

So, hypothetically speaking, of course. If you are hungry and coming home from work and your husband bought you a half hero from your favorite hero shop, what would you do?

If you answered A.- scarf it done standing up- you are like most women in America.

And, that is just what I did.

And then put myself in a downward spiral. And the reason why?
I was hungry!
I have been doing so well. And though I didn't weigh myself, I could feel it. My stomach seemed flatter and a couple of people told me it looked like I was losing weight. The lady behind me in step class said it and she would know, I mean, she is behind me in step class!

I was working the Nutrisystem program and things were moving well.
But, I let myself be hungry- when it is late and I am hungry, I don't think about making food, I just go for the closest thing. Which happened to be a delicious hero.

And then I had some women over and someone bought a bagel that had asiago cheese on top- yes please! And then someone bought the best pasta salad ever! And it was a carb fest after that.

But, no more. I don't like the way I feel strung out on carbs- no energy and I have a lot to do this weekend. 

So, back on the saddle and no looking back.

  1. Oh yeah. I've been struggling for a few months now to get back to my healthy eating habits. My unhealthy habits have come back & I can feel the difference...I'm sluggish & I gained back some of the weight I lost.

    Those old habits die hard, but I just keep plugging along & try to tell myself that I can't focus on my mess-ups but just need to make better choices in the future. It's hard not to beat myself up, but I know the downward spiral that being mad at myself triggers too.

  2. The bagels and salad were delicious! How could anyone help themselves? I had at least 2 muffins! But the important thing is to look forward, not back. Just keep moving! You're looking good, baby! ;-)

  3. I have finally decided to start a new program to help me lose weight. It has been hard since I went from being so active at work to just sitting in front of a computer.

    Good for you that you are really doing it! You will help motivate me :)
