Home Depot Kids Workshop- Hey, it's Free!

So, I know I have told you but ... the first Saturday of the month is the Home Depot Kids Workshop. Kids can make a craft with wood and sometimes paint it.
So, on Saturday we took our local Home Depot by storm. Me, the 3 youngest and 2 of their friends headed in. And everyone in Home Depot had something to say. "Wow, make sure you don't lose any." Hardy har har, people. Like no one else in this town has a bunch of kids with them.

When signing the kids in, I jokingly told the lady, "Okay, I will see you in an hour". She was not amused. Maybe a little nervous that I was serious.

The kids put on their home depot aprons that the store lets them keep and got to work. I tried to help all of them.

And they did an excellent job.
Except, I think I forgot to help this little guy, so he took it upon himself.
Not too shabby.

Next workshop- April 7th- a bird feeder.
See you there.

  1. I've always wanted to take my kids to this. What a great idea from HD...much better than closing EXPO where my husband worked ;0

  2. I took my little ones, too! In and out in less than half an hour. It was great and they had fun. Thinking about going next month, too. Maybe we'll see you there. :-)
