Got Stuff Your Not Using- Sell It!

I know I have been speaking about it a lot, but I just love the idea of not having to dip into the monthly budget to pay for Christmas and on a bigger scale, would love to be able to pay down some debt.
I read this post and it inspired me. Read it if you get the chance and if you can read the comments too. So many interesting testimonies of paying down debt and interesting ideas. One of the things that really spoke to me is when Kendra (the blog author) wrote about things in every room that had no real purpose. Boy, do I have stuff like that.
So, I am back on my quest to sell things off on ebay and don't forget my Christmas cash ideas.
I plan to get rid of the clutter.
What about you?
Do you have an interesting story of how you got rid of some debt either recently or awhile back?
I could use the encouragement!

  1. Hmm. I keep thinking about selling on ebay or craigslist like the ladies over at My Dear Trash. But, that seems like something I'll try when my boys are a little older and I have a little more time to dedicate to it.

One thing that I did for a little bit bring homebaked cookies, cakes, brownies to my husband's work place and sit them in the break room. I sold a bag of 2-3 cookies or a brownie for 75 cents-$1. It was good for an extra 20-30 dollars a week. Not a lot. But, I thought about expanding it and seeking other businesses in the area that would let me bring in my snacks for sale. I never did do anything with that idea.

By the way, any updates on etsy?

Hey! Thanks for dropping by- I love comments and read them all!
